eircom is the principal provider of fixed-line telecommunications services in Ireland with approximately 2.6 million fixed-line telephone access channels in service.

As well as supporting eircom's Caché Database Systems, Grapevine designed, developed and support the National Directory Database system, which eircom manages on behalf of ComReg and the Wholesale Line Rental system, which manages the transfer of fixed line and mobile numbers between operators.
